Greetings and Gratitude on the Pentecost by Fr. Roman Bobesiuk

by Rev. Roman Bobesiuk

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
On this glorious day of the Pentecost, accept sincere greetings and gratitude.

As we know, all Apostles with Mary Mother of God were gathered together in expectation of the coming of the Holy Spirit. When they were praying and praising God the Holy Spirit descended on them. All of them were filled with Him and began to proclaim God’s Word with Love to all nations.
This happened almost two thousand years ago. However, the Holy Spirit acts always and everywhere even right now while you are reading this message. No obstacles exist for Him.
The Holy Spirit chose you to give birth to a new Church in a beautifully created World by our Heavenly Father. This place is our Cody, located in northwest Wyoming.  The wonderful town is surrounded by gorgeous mountains which tell us about God’s Glory. Every ray of the sun breaking through the peaks gives us Hope and Joy. Every wild creature and flower shows God’s care. Lakes and ponds mirror Heaven. Blowing wind expresses God’s power. The Lord chose this place to be glorified in the Holy Trinity through the crown of His creation – you and me. He desires to be among us. For that reason, through us, He established His Church.
As Mary was with the Apostles at prayer in the Upper Room so we gather in our St. Luke chapel to praise and give thanks to the Lord for your help and support. May the Holy Spirit dwell in your hearts and fill your lives with His Gifts. Only in the Holy Spirit can we reach our final destination. As it is written: “What no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, and what no human mind has conceived” — the things God has prepared for those who love him.
So, we continue our mission to become closer to our Heavenly Father and ask you to be with us in this journey of creating the beautiful church in this beautiful corner of the world.
THANK YOU!!!
YOU ARE ALWAYS IN OUR PRAYERS!
